After beginning his MMA training in February of 2008, Jessie has made a huge impact in the sport in a very short time. Former two time Virginia state wrestling champion, Jessie is regarded as one of the most talented Virginia amateur wrestles in recent history. After a 5-0 amateur MMA career, Jessie turned professional in October of 2008. In his second fight as a pro, the Bantamweight prospect showcased his abilities with a dominating 3rd round submission over seasoned veteran Steve Kinnison. It was Kinnison's 27th professional fight, but the most impressive thing about Jessie's victory was he took the fight on two days notice. After finishing 100% of his opponents, Jessie has shown all the makings of a future star in the sport.
